‘But Cristiano’s story at Real Madrid was unique. I hope to do something unique. I only have praise for him. We are in contact, he’s a legend’.
Ronaldo praised Mbappe after the 25-year-old secured his move to Real Madrid.
Mbappe has joined Real on a free transfer, signing a five-year deal and is set to receive €15million-per-year (£12.8m), down from the €25million-per-year (£21.4m) he earned at PSG.
After the move was announced, Mbappe posted throwback photos of him in Real Madrid gear, including one of him with Ronaldo.
